Two injured when car goes off highway
A Spokane Valley woman was injured after the car she was driving went off State Route 27 about midnight Saturday, the Washington State Patrol said Sunday.
Wendy M. Presley, 39, was northbound on SR 27 when she entered a curve and crossed into the southbound lane before rolling 100 feet into a field. She was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital for treatment. Her condition was not available late Sunday.
Spokane Valley resident Mark J. McFrederick, 43, a passenger in the car, was not injured. Both the driver and passenger were wearing seat belts.
Speed and alcohol use were factors in the accident, WSP said in a news release.
