Moscow World Famine Relief Fund-raiser – Empty Bowls Project will be Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the 1912 Building in Moscow. The community sponsors this annual event with 100 percent of proceeds being donated to Tsunami relief efforts and World Famine Relief. Various hand-made bowls donated by area artists will be sold for $10 and up and participants can fill them with soup donated by Moscow Food Coop. Live entertainment will be provided. AWI Sports Fair and Grand Opening – Saturday from noon-4 p.m. at the new location at 3115 N. Government Way. Spokane radio station Rock 94.5 will be on location doing a live remote with prizes and discounts, and Kootenai County’s new semi-pro football team, the Kootenai Eagles will also be on hand.
