CS Fullerton rips USF 85-69
Bobby Brown had 25 points and seven rebounds to help Cal State Fullerton beat host San Francisco 85-69 on Friday night in the first round of the NIT.
After shooting 33 percent from the floor in the first half, the Titans (21-10) hit 12 of their first 14 attempts in the second and scored 57 points in the final 20 minutes to set up a second-round game at Georgetown on Tuesday.
Ralphy Holmes added 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Titans, who won for the 13th time in their last 16 games.
USF (17-14) shot 35 percent from the floor.

UNLV 89, Arizona State 78: Ricky Morgan scored 21 points to lead UNLV (17-13) past Arizona State (18-14) in the first round of the NIT at Las Vegas. The Rebels advanced to play at South Carolina Tuesday night.
