Home Buyers Fair set for March 19

Do you have questions about buying a home? Get your answers all in one place at Spokane HomeOwnership Resource Center’s Home Buyers Fair 2005, presented by Allstate Insurance, a free, one-day event Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Spokane Convention Center.

Potential homebuyers will learn about the buying process to help navigate the home-buying maze and avoid making costly mistakes. Exhibitors will include real estate agents, mortgage companies, credit unions, home inspectors, builders, credit counselors, insurance agents, specialty home buying programs and more.

There will be a children’s area and mini-workshops throughout the day. Workshop topics include: “Mortgage Loans Made Easy,” “Home Inspection Basics,” “Home Buying Tips That Can Save You Money,” “Choosing the Right Homeowners Insurance,” “HUD’s Home Buying Opportunities,” “How SHORC Can Help in the Home Buying Process” and more.

Attendees will be able to sign up to win a variety of door prizes, such as gift cards to Home Depot, Best Buy, and Coldwater Creek.

The Home Buyers Fair 2005 is sponsored by Cliff Walton Jr. and Lee Hertel of Allstate Insurance, Action Mortgage, Cherry Creek Mortgage Co., Country Homes Realty, Eagle Home Mortgage, Washington Mutual and Spokane Mortgage Lenders Association.
