Friends of the Moran Prairie Library – Volunteers are needed to collect and sort books, distribute posters and flyers for the annual book sale in June. For information, call Mary at 443-6663.

SCOPE – Volunteers are needed for school patrol, resource referrals, flagging, vacation home checks, neighborhood watch and Community Emergency Response Team. Contact Bonnie at 477-4717 or e-mail babethnethy@spokanecounty. org.

Southside Senior Activity and Community Center – Volunteers are needed to tutor or mentor elementary school children or to assist the program manager in planning and staging recreation programs and events. Contact Ron at 535-0803.

St. Vincent de Paul of Spokane – Volunteers are needed to input data into QuickBooks and basic accounting checks/balances. Must be 18 years old and have knowledge of the software and account procedures. Volunteers are also needed to drive a van to pick up bread from local retailers for two hours in the mornings. For information about either of these opportunities, contact Matthew at 535-2491.

The Salvation Army, Spokane – Volunteers are needed to serve low-income and single-parent populations. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Contact Judy at 325-6821.
