Jude Law finished shooting “All the Kings Men” in New Orleans and immediately “hopped the pond” to Blighty, where he is now filming “Breaking and Entering” with Juliette Binoche. And while in London he gets to see his three adorable kids by Sadie Frost. And talk about beautiful offspring! Raffert aged 9, Iris aged 4 and Rudy aged 2 certainly fill the bill.

And speaking of children, little Apple, who is the image of mama Gwyneth, may soon have a sibling. Word round is Mrs. Mom would like a baby brother for her little girl. Heavens! Do you think she might name him Banana? Meanwhile, mama keeps looking at scripts hoping to find a really good one with some Award possibilities.

And as for that other new mother, Mrs. Moder, she seems to have mended her bridges with her mother and “grama” and is enjoying Hazel and Phin. However, as someone asked, I do not know Julia’s relationship with her brother, Eric Roberts, at the moment. However, I do know Julia is very close to his daughter, Emma. And Julia also is now looking over a pile of scripts hoping to find a “goodie.”

It’s tourist time in Tinseltown, and places like Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre with the stars’ foot and handprints in the forecourt, Disneyland, the Farmer’s Market, and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills are packed with bug-eyed people. All looking to spot a star somewhere. My advice is “take a tour.” The speaker will point out celeb homes and places of interest, and then you will be able to follow up with a bit of “stalking.”

For those who didn’t read it the first time around, there’s a new edition of Peter Benchley’s “Jaws” (Random House) in release. This to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the movie “Jaws” being celebrated by Universal Studios. The book was 44 weeks on the bestseller list. The movie was the breakout film for Steven Spielberg. Even if you’ve seen the film, the book is a great read.

Proving themselves a winning combination in “The Longest Yard,” Adam Sandler and Chris Rock are teaming again in a comedy titled “The Gilmores of Beverly Hills.” It’s about the rocky times of a low-income black family living in the posh Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles. Chris wrote the script, and shooting gets under way when autumn rolls round.
