Men’s basketball

Rob Pankowski, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound player from Walla Walla Community College, signed a scholarship agreement to play for the University of Idaho during the 2005-06 season.

Pankowski, a graduate of Bishop Kelly High in Boise, averaged 23 points per game and shot 59 percent from the floor as a sophomore.

“Rob is a proven scorer,” said UI coach Leonard Perry. “He’s a guy who knows how to put the ball in the basket. He’ll be a welcome addition.”
