Jerome Gumbs scored a career-high 27 points as San Francisco defeated Portland in overtime in San Francisco. Gumbs also had 11 rebounds and USF’s Tyrone Riley scored nine of his 17 points in overtime and John Cox added 10 points. … Kyle Bailey scored 25 points to lead Santa Clara to a win over Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif. The win stretched Santa Clara’s winning streak to four games and Pepperdine’s losing streak to four. … Daniel Kickert matched a career-high with 28 points to lead Saint Mary’s to a victory over Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles. Kickert went 11 for 13 from the field, including four 3-pointers.
