Next up for Beyonce: a full line of booty products?

Beyonce is planning a new release – her own fashion collection. The Destiny’s Child singer has signed a licensing agreement with the Tarrant Apparel Group to produce a line of clothing for young women.
The House of Dereon collection is named after her grandmother Agnes Dereon, who worked as a seamstress.
Beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles, will design the line.
The first fashions will be in stores this fall, and the look will be “a mix of vintage things with contemporary things. It’ll be fur with denim, classic with street,” Beyonce said.
As for her musical career, the 23-year-old singer says that the recently reunited Destiny’s Child may have reached the end of the road.
“Maybe in five years we’ll do another record, maybe not,” she said. “We could do a reunion but we can’t be 40 doing ‘Bootylicious.’ “
Scholarship? She thought they said ‘collar slip’
A year after her infamous halftime show “wardrobe malfunction,” Janet Jackson is headed to another Super Bowl event.
The singer will attend a celebrity scholarship party in Jacksonville, Fla., sponsored by the Black Family Channel, on Saturday night, the eve of the game. The event is not affiliated with the NFL.
Usher’s no longer in Vogue with Naomi
Supermodel Naomi Campbell has refused to pose with ex-boyfriend Usher for a Vogue For Men cover, demanding to be pictured with rapper Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs instead.
Campbell and the R&B hunk ended their three-month romance last month, and she was reportedly furious when the magazine asked her to reunite with him for the shoot.
Said a Campbell spokesman: “It was one of those things. Naomi was offered the cover. Puffy (Combs) had been offered another cover. They are great friends, were talking the other day and, hey presto, decided to have some fun and do it together.”
Fare thee well, foolish girl
Portia de Rossi has given her new lady love, Ellen DeGeneres, a Tiffany wedding band.
DeRossi, 31, gave DeGeneres a platinum band from the famed Fifth Avenue jeweler for her 47th birthday last week and bought a matching band for herself.
The “Arrested Development” star, who split with her longtime lover, Francesca Gregorini, to move in with DeGeneres, also is undergoing laser treatments to remove an “F.G.” tattoo – for Gregorini’s initials – from her ring finger.
Um, about that tooth part …
One of Leona Helmsley‘s hotel employees is suing the real estate queen, claiming she was “viciously attacked and bitten about her right hand” by Helmsley’s pet dog.
The 6-year-old Maltese, named Trouble, has previously bitten other people, the suit claims.
“Trouble is no trouble at all. She’s a loving dog,” said a Helmsley spokesman, adding that she will fight the lawsuit “tooth and nail.”
