Quarterbacks: A

Swogger rebounded nicely from last week’s struggles to put the Vandals away early.

Running backs: B-

First-half performance was shaky but things picked up late.

Wide receivers: A-

No drops after 13 in the first two weeks and Hill turns three catches into three touchdowns.

Offensive line: A-

Vandals put little pressure on quarterbacks and running game showed signs of life.

Defensive line: B

With both starting tackles out, Cougars held their own but did allow 158 yard on the ground.

Linebackers: A-

Helped create and secure turnovers when WSU needed them most.

Secondary: B+

Performed solidly against a weak Idaho passing attack; interception on first play set the tone.

Special teams: B

Returns were unspectacular, but one early fumble recovery on a punt set up a score.

Coaching: B+

Cougars showed life early and took Idaho out of the game well before the half.
