Blanchette ruins Cougs’ coverage

Every Sunday during the college football season, Mr. John Blanchette delivers his commentary describing the previous day’s Cougar football game. And every Sunday I can smell it before I open the door to retrieve the morning’s paper. He writes with a smirking glee that precludes him from any worthwhile product. His sarcasm and opaque opinion have done more to keep Spokanites out of the stands than any Cougar football team has. Glenn Kasses, on the other hand, has been a breath of fresh air. At least I can read him before I turn to more informative sources. If Glenn is the play-by-play and John is the color guy, give me a black and white TV and a Cougar football game. Go Cougs.
