The ARC of Spokane – The ARC’s community center needs volunteers who are comfortable around people with developmental disabilities to work as craft aides, companions, dance chaperons, variety show helpers and guest speakers. Volunteers are also needed as “in-house companions” to help with music/dancing, crafts, sing-a-longs, reading, taking walks and other one-on-one activities. Cancer Patient Care – Volunteers with experience with law, tax or financial planning are needed to head up CPC’s Planned Giving Program. For more information, contact Marian at 456-0446 or e-mail mariant@cancerpatientcare.org.
