Looking back Murray, Idaho, in 1800s


This photo, from the late 1900's, of Murray, Idaho shows one of the town's original buildings, at the far left, that still stand's, and is now occupied by the Sprag Pole Restaurant and Musuem. The village of Curry was laid out in 1884, then renamed Marraysville, for George Murray, a miner and part owner of one of the claims that the town was built on.
