Cardinals’ kicker Rackers ties NFL record

TEMPE, Ariz. — Neil Rackers of the Arizona Cardinals tied an NFL record by kicking three field goals of at least 50 yards on Sunday.

Rackers had two 55-yarders in the first half, and another from 50 yards in the third quarter against the Seattle Seahawks.

That tied the record set by Morten Anderson for Atlanta against New Orleans on Dec. 10, 1995. Rackers also was the first to have two from at least 55 yards since Anderson’s two 55-yarders in that same game.

Rackers has five field goals of at least 50 yards this season. The NFL record is eight.
