Scary Stories – The Spokane Public Library will present scary stories for school-aged children. The stories will be Tuesday at the Shadle Library, 2111 W. Wellesley at 7 p.m.; Oct. 25 at the Indian Trail Library, 4909 W. Barnes at 7 p.m.; and Oct. 26 at the South Hill Library, 3324 S. Perry at 7 p.m. For more information, call 444-5331.

Not Quite So Scary Stories – The Spokane Public Library will present this event for families, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. in the third-floor Storytime Room of the Downtown Library, 906 W. Main. For more information, call 444-5331.

Juggling for Beginners – Presented by Spokane Parks and Recreation, this class for ages 10-13 meets Tuesday at Adams Elementary School, 2909 E. 37th, from 6:15-7:15 p.m. The cost is $9 and participants are asked to bring three tennis-ball-sized round objects. Before- and After-school Programs – Educational and fun programs are available at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook. Transportation to and from some local elementary schools is available and state pay is accepted. Includes a USDA approved snack.
