Scales on the run

Mullan’s Randy Scales rushed a dozen times for 148 yards and two touchdowns to spark the Tigers to a 34-20 North Star League win over Lakeside.

Clark Fork QB Clayton Hewitt engineered 54 unanswered points as the Wampus Cats steamrolled Kootenai. Hewitt passed for five TDs, rushed for one and returned an interception for another.

Blake Mahler caught four touchdown passes from Eric DeMers, including a 70-yard strike in the third quarter, dashed 33 yards for a fifth score, booted a 31-yard field goal and kicked six of seven PATs.
