This year, drugstores are making it easier for employees who have flexible spending accounts to get rid of their leftover funds before Dec. 31. FSAs allow people to set aside pretax money to pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance, ranging from deductibles and co-pays to therapeutic massage. Last year, the Treasury Department said people also could use the money for over-the-counter medications.
