Share your Christmas traditions with our readers

The Spokesman-Review

The Valley Voice is looking for a few great Christmas traditions this season, and we’d like to hear from Spokane Valley readers who want to share those favorite holiday customs with us.

Does your family pile into one car and head out in the cold every Christmas Eve to look at Christmas lights, even if the road resembles an ice skating rink?

Does your family cozy up on the couch after dinner while dad reads ” ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,” from the same tattered book each year?

How about trekking out into the forest, or tree lot, together to find that perfect Christmas tree?

Whatever your holiday rituals, we want to hear about them.

If we get enough great stories, we’ll print several of them in the Dec. 25 Valley Voice. We may even include some photographs of your family tradition, if you have them.

E-mail your traditions to reporter Sara Leaming at sarale@spokesman.com. The deadline is Dec. 18.

Please include your name and address, and a phone number so we can contact you should we decide to use your story.

Submissions can also be mailed to:
