The Salvation Army – Volunteers are needed to deliver food baskets to low-income families for Thanksgiving, process applications and assist elderly clients. Volunteers must be 16 years old. For information, call Judy Miller at 325-6821.

Volunteers of America Crosswalk – This multi-service center for homeless and at-risk teens is in need of volunteers for its Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Duties will include gathering food items, gifts or serve dinner on Tuesday and/or Dec. 22. For information, call Kerry at 838-6596 or e-mail kmccruden@voatspokane.org.

Second Harvest of the Inland Northwest – Volunteers are needed on the first Saturday of December and January from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to give food to more than 400 people. Trent Elementary – Volunteers are needed to be at Tutoring or Mentoring Buddy/Friend to help elementary students with reading, math and science. For information, call 924-2622 or e-mail timmerp@evsd.org.
