National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Candlelight Vigil in front of St. Vincent de Paul’s Coeur d’Alene thrift store in honor and memory of those who face hunger and homelessness in our community from 5:30-5:45 p.m..

Chiropractor “Will work for Food” Today through Saturday Dr. Timothy Grothman and the Health Within Chiropractic Center in Post Falls, is giving his time in exchange for a nonperishable food donation of approximately $20 for the Post Falls Food Bank. Patients will receive an initial consultation, exam and spinal X-rays if needed. An appointment is necessary. Call 777-7463. Health Within is at 2525 E. Seltice Way, Suite C., next to Rancho Viejo.

Audubon Society Monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Idaho Fish and Game office, 2750 W. Kathleen. The program is about eagle nesting in North Idaho.

North Idaho Partners in Care Mobile Clinic will be at the Stoneridge Resort in Blanchard from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for dental only. For an appointment, call 415-5100.

Coeur d’Alene Art Association will meet at 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 5th and Wallace. Information: 667-6861.

National Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at noon at the Red Lion Templins Hotel in Post Falls.

Books wanted for special holiday sale – The Friends of the Coeur d’Alene Public Library are collecting gently used books for a sale to benefit the building fund for the new library. To donate, e-mail dtown@library.org or call 769-2315.

4-H Sign-Up Night Tuesday at 6 p.m. for youths aged 5-18, in Building No.1 at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. There will be a presentation with an overview of 4-H and the role of youth, parents and leaders. Information: 446-1680.
