The Riverside girls soccer team moved into the quarterfinals of the State 2A tournament with a 2-1 win over East Valley (Yakima) on Tuesday. The Rams, 14-4 and winners of their last 13 matches, will play Connell this weekend in the quarterfinals. Connell, the reigning State 2A champion, knocked off the GNL’s No. 2 seed, Pullman, 4-1 at the beginning of the season. Pullman’s season ended at 12-6 Tuesday with a 1-0 loss to Naches.
