Brothers killed in car crash

Associated Press

MANSFIELD, Wash. – Two East Wenatchee brothers were killed Saturday morning when their vehicle went off a road in the Jameson Lake area in Douglas County.

Charles Voss, 25, and Lawrence Voss, 38, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. about four miles south of Mansfield, Douglas County Sheriff Dan LaRoche said.

The men were driving southbound when Lawrence Voss apparently failed to negotiate a left turn and the car struck a power pole.

The two men had been staying at Jameson Lake and were on a fishing trip with relatives.
