Burke hasn’t filed for race

A story in Tuesday’s local section about candidates filing for office incorrectly stated that Democrat Bill Burke filed to run for Spokane County commissioner in the district being vacated by current Commissioner John Roskelley. Because of a reporting error, Burke’s name was listed instead of Democrat Tom Hargreaves. Burke announced in February that he will run for the seat being vacated by Commissioner Kate McCaslin, but he hasn’t filed for the position.
