Timberlake: story about affair with model is all wet
Justin Timberlake says he’s still in love with Cameron Diaz — and he’s willing to go to court to prove it. Timberlake is demanding an apology from London’s News of the World after the tabloid published a model’s claim that she and Timberlake had an affair there while Diaz was in Los Angeles.
Timberlake’s lawyer tells “Celebrity Justice” that he is demanding a retraction, and is prepared to sue if he doesn’t get one.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Diaz is standing by her boy, er, man.
“We are solid and I love him,” she told Us Weekly magazine in response to the increasing number of stories alleging that the couple has broken up.
As for model Lucy Clarkson, Diaz said she “just wanted publicity.”
The published account of the alleged affair at London’s Landmark hotel appeared in Sunday’s News of the World.
The 22-year-old Clarkson claimed Timberlake, 23, was obsessed with her breasts, but added that she “didn’t really like kissing him because his lips were too small.”
But what a good wife she would be
Remember that secret marriage that R&B star Brandy announced to the world two years ago?
Turns out it was so secret it actually never happened — or at least so says her alleged husband, music producer Robert Smith, who now claims it was a ruse to protect Brandy’s reputation because she was pregnant. The couple split up last July.
As you may recall, MTV documented preparations for the June 2002 birth with the reality series, “Brandy — Special Delivery.”
At least there weren’t any kids in the picture
Longtime movie producer Robert Evans, 74, has been granted a divorce from his sixth wife, former Versace model Leslie Ann Woodward, 35. The couple was married for seven months before separating in June 2003.
Evans, whose life story was the subject of the 2002 documentary “The Kid Stays in the Picture,” was previously married to the likes of “Love Story” star Ali MacGraw, former Miss America Phyllis George and “Dynasty” co-star Catherine Oxenberg.
How many chick/nest/stork headlines can we write?
The Dixie Chicks have added another hatchling.
Lead singer Natalie Maines has given birth to a baby boy, her second son with actor-husband Adrian Pasdar, the group’s Web site announced Friday.
Beckett Finn Pasdar, born July 14, weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. The couple’s first child, Slade, is 3 years old.
Oh, like the cat the shoe is named after, maybe?
Grammy-winning singer Erykah Badu gave birth to a daughter, Puma, earlier this month at her home in Dallas, People magazine reported Thursday.
Puma, whose father wasn’t named, joins brother Seven, 6, whose father is Andre Benjamin of OutKast.
Badu’s publicist said Puma isn’t named for the athletic shoe: “It’s more likely that the name has meaning, that it’s something natural.”
Up next for Halle: “Monster’s Hairball”
Halle Berry is shrugging off concerns that the sexpot ad campaign for the critically despised “Catwoman” is too demeaning for a groundbreaking black Oscar winner.
“The thought it might be degrading never came into my consciousness,” she says. “A cat walks on all fours. I was very committed to bringing this character to life and being as catlike as I could.”
