Winemaker Dinner – Featuring Pend Oreille Winery and winemaker Steve Meyer, Saturday, 7 p.m., at DiLuna’s Café, 207 Cedar St., Sandpoint. Cost: $55. Call 208-263-0846.

Wine Dinner – Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., at Twigs North, 9820 N. Nevada, behind Northpointe Shopping Center. Menu consist of Pan Seared Scallops in Ginger Beurre Blanc, Maple-glazed cream of carrot soup, cast-iron seared lamb chops with a black Mission fig-lamb reduction, Twigs’ Signature Salad with gorgonzola and dried cranberries, Bermuda Triangle hazelnut nougat, banana mousse and crème anglaise. Free Ice Cream Cake – Enjoy a slice of ice cream cake inspired by Make-A-Wish kids, celebrating the World’s Largest Ice Cream Cake Social, July 29, 5-8 p.m., Cold Stone Creamery, 9502 N. Newport Highway. The ice cream cake is an indulgent blend of layers of moist devil’s food cake, sweet cream ice cream, Oreos, and chocolate shavings wrapped in a rich chocolate ganache.
