Newman Lake man killed in trail accident

WALLACE – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday in a head-on collision on the Moon Pass Saddle about 10 miles south of Wallace, Idaho, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office said.

About 1 p.m., Gregory Michael Somers, 46, of Newman Lake, collided with an ATV while riding on a narrow mountain trail. A witness said both vehicles were traveling at high speed.
