Tickets go on sale today for Sonics-Jazz exhibition game
The Seattle SuperSonics will play the Utah Jazz in an NBA preseason game at the Spokane Arena on Oct. 17.
Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. at the Arena box office, TicketsWest locations, www.ticketwest.com or by phone at 325-SEAT. Prices are $75 (courtside), $50, $35, $15 and $8.
Bies low pro at BofA Pro-Am
Don Bies of Seattle Golf & Country Club shot his age, 66, and won low professional honors as the two-day Bank of America Pro-Am concluded at Indian Canyon Golf Course.
The pro-am is a prelude to the Rosauers Open, which begins today.
The second-day pro-am winning team was Kevin McDonald, Jeff Condill, Duane Halliday and Steve Stockton, who were paired with professional Doug Doxsie of Seattle GC. They shot a combined 34-under par in the two net of five format. Those four amateurs also won the first day of the pro-am, paired with a different pro.
Doxsie tied with three other pros at 67.
