Event to aid Peaceful Valley program

The Spokesman-Review

The Peaceful Valley Community Center is hosting a wine-tasting event and auction from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Community Building, 35 W. Main Ave. Tickets are a suggested donation of $25.

The center is still looking for donations of products and services that can be auctioned off to support the center’s programs. Any donations are appreciated. To donate items or to purchase tickets, call Sarah at 624-8634.

The center’s Kids Program offers free, supervised and structured after-school, summer and weekend programs for kids who are in a high-risk demographic. Its Enough to Eat program provides groceries to an average of 1,800 people monthly, and the number continues to increase.
