NEW FACES

Anthony’s Restaurant has recently selected Frankie Dietz to be the general manager of the restaurant, which opens on July 14. Dietz has been managing restaurants in San Francisco and Seattle since 1989.

Matt Hale has recently been hired as the head chef at Anthony’s Restaurant. Hale has been with Anthony’s for 10 years.

Dr. Diana Hager, an obstetrician/gynecologist, has recently hired Wendy Smith. Smith is a 2002 graduate of Washington State University and holds a master’s degree in nursing.

Dr. Nicholas McNamara, a dentist, has recently joined the dental office of James McNamara in Rathdrum. He attended Carroll College and received his dental degree from Creighton University.

The Arc of Spokane County has recently hired Carrie L. Kraft as manager of the Arc Community Center. Kraft is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a master’s degree in education. She has 12 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.

Brian Daley has recently been hired by the Arc of Spokane County as financial management counselor. Daley has been working with people with developmental disabilities for seven years and is a graduate of Gonzaga University.

The Arc of Spokane County has recently hired Buc Marshall as a financial management counselor. Marshall is the president of Structure Investments, L.L.C. and is a senior in finance at Eastern Washington University.

April Person has recently joined Integrus Architecture as an interior designer. Person was previously with Northwest Architectural Company.

Integrus Architecture has recently hired Doug Mielke as an architectural drafter. Mielke was previously with ALSC Architects.

Susan Mangin has recently been hired at Integrus Architecture as a project manager. Mangin was previously the head of the drafting department at Benson High School in Portland and taught architectural drafting and design.

Integrus Architecture has recently hired Gregory Rogers as a business development coordinator. Rogers is a member of the Spokane Arts Commission and was previously special events coordinator at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture.

Slade Zumhofe has recently been hired at Wheatland Bank as vice president and commercial loan officer. Zumhofe is a graduate of Washington State University and has many years of banking experience.

Molly Smith has recently been hired by the Arc of Spokane County as the after-school specialist. Smith will begin studying for her master’s degree this fall and is a graduate of Gonzaga University.

Integrus Architecture has recently hired Betsy Phew as an administrative assistant. Phew will provide clerical and technical support to the firm’s United States Embassy teams.

Sarah Taylor has recently been hired as an account assistant at Desautel Hege Communications. Taylor is a recent graduate of Gonzaga University and holds a degree in business administration with concentrations in marketing, human resource management and entrepreneurial leadership.

Desautel Hege Communications has recently hired Dale Hammond as an account executive. Hammond was previously with PRR, a public relations firm in Seattle, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political studies from Whitworth College.

Gregory J. Fine has recently been hired at Montana Rockies Rail Tours as vice president of sales and marketing. Fine was previously the membership marketing director at the American National Standards Institute in New York City and is a graduate of the University of Montana.

UltraShred LLC has recently hired Stacey Ewton as president and chief executive officer. Ewton has over 20 years of experience in creating and managing multi-million dollar businesses and holds a Ph.D. in systems science/engineering and technology management.

Stephanie Thun has recently been hired at the Manito office of Windermere Real Estate as a sales associate. She was previously a sales associate at Coldwell Banker in Vancouver.

Global Credit Union has recently hired the following member services representatives: Becky Bublitz, at the Mead branch; Elena Akimenko, at the Mead Branch; and Teresa Gauna, at the branch at Fairchild Air Force Base.

Erin Stiles has recently been hired as a customer service representative at the Airway Heights store of mYday.

The Pullman office of Windermere Real Estate has recently hired Kris Finch as a sales associate. Finch was previously the public relations director at Pullman Memorial Hospital.

Norm Mack has recently been hired at the Pullman office of Windermere Real Estate as an associate broker. Mack was previously with Heritage Realty in Pullman and has been director of the Washington Association of Realtors for 12 years.

KUDOS

Parker Toyota in Coeur d’Alene has recently been awarded a 2003 AAA Top Shop Award. This award is given to dealerships and repair shops that have received top scores on AAA’s Customer Service Index.

Gregory Preuss of the Northern Rocky Regional Financial office of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has recently inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame. Preuss has been with the company for 28 years.

LaMar Miller of Miller & Laws Associates has recently earned the Certified Senior Advisor designation from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.

ELECTED/APPOINTED

Dale Stedman of Spokane has recently been elected chairman of the Washington State Transportation Commission. Stedman was appointed to the Transportation Commission in 2003 by Gov. Gary Locke and is a former president of AAA Washington/Inland.

The Eastern Washington Historical Society of the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture has recently elected new members and board officers. The officers are: Ron Rector, president; Sue Bradley, vice president; Molly Hurley, secretary; Steve Herbison, treasurer; and Al Payne, past president. The members are Chris Schnug, a partner at Moss Adams, and Wayne Williams, the president and CEO of Telect.

PROMOTED

Jenny Fechter has recently been promoted to the position of business development manager at Integrus Architecture. Fechter was previously the business development coordinator and currently serves on the board of directors at the Prevocational Training Center.

Integrus Architecture has recently promoted Jodi Kittel to the position of intern architect after graduating from the architectural program at Washington State University. Kittel was previously a student intern at the firm.

Richard Sollie has recently been promoted at Sterling Savings Bank to the position of vice president. Sollie has been with the bank since 2001 and has worked as an IT help desk supervisor and an IT customer support manager.
