Auditions start Saturday for Pop Star USA

Auditions begin Saturday for Pop Star USA, a local singing talent competition that could earn the winner a trip to audition for “American Idol.” The auditions will be Saturday, next Sunday and July 16 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CenterStage, 1017 W. (If 26 or older, and ineligible for “Idol,” other prizes will be awarded in addition to studio time.)

Entry fee is $35. Forms are available at CenterStage or can be downloaded from www.uspopstar.com. For more information, see the Web site or call (509) 216-2106.
