Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Spokane County – RSVP is looking for volunteers of all ages to help knit and crochet hats, mittens, scarves and blankets of all sizes. Yarn and patterns are provided. Call Teri at 344-7787. The program is also looking for community volunteers for the “Seniors in Safety” Program to help Spokane during times of disaster. Shriners Hospital for Children – Volunteer as a greeting, mail delivery, clerical and office assistant as well as helping with patient activities. Call 455-7844.

Spokane Regional Health District – Volunteers ages 18 and over are needed to engage in emergency preparedness and response. All skill levels are welcome. Call Tiffany at 324-1405.

Spokane Veterans Home – Visit the veterans and provide companionship. Call Shane at 344-5788.

Valleyfest – Volunteers interested in assisting in this year’s event held on Sept. 25 are needed. Call Peggy at 922-3299.
