Paris For Fashion Set

Fashion was frisky over the weekend in Paris, with minimalism, the current trend on runways, taking a back seat. Above, a huge wedding gown from Japan’s Yohji Yamamoto takes an army of workers to assemble. There were few clothes for day wear, and loads of spangled tights gave the show a boulevard hooker look. “It was indeed Nanook of the North, with a trace of existentialism,” said British fashion historian Colin McDowell.
