College women
Community Colleges of Spokane stayed alive in the NWAACC women’s basketball tournament Friday in Yakima, defeating Everett 82-51 to advance to today’s fourth-place game.
The Sasquatch will play South Puget Sound at 1 p.m.
After shooting 27 percent from the floor in their opening-round loss to Mt. Hood, the Sasquatch responded by making 51 percent against Everett.
Kelli Pilkington scored 22 points, making 10 of 13 shots for CCS.
