Twin Sisters Arrested, Face Drug Charges

From Staff And Wire Reports

Transient twins were arrested and booked on drug charges in Spokane Saturday, police said.

The 19-year-old sisters were stopped about 11 p.m. near Napa and Decatur because of a burned-out taillight, said police spokesman Dick Cottam.

Both women gave false names, but the officer who stopped them remembered they had been arrested under different names six weeks before, Cottam said.

Melinna A. O’Flynn and Mardonna O’Flynn both had outstanding warrants.

A police dog found cocaine and methamphetamine in their car, Cottam said. Police also seized $495 in cash, scales, a mirror covered with white powder residue, a marijuana pipe and an undisclosed type of prescription pills. , DataTimes
