Carril Leads Hoops Inductees

Pete Carril, who made back-door lay-ups popular during his 29 years at Princeton University, will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame today in Springfield, Mass.

Also being inducted are former NBA star Alex English, longtime University of Texas-El Paso coach Don Haskins, UCLA All-American Denise Curry, AAU star Joan Crawford, NBA veteran Bailey Howell and Spanish coaching legend Antonio Diaz-Miguel.
