Rescue Crews Find Body Of Hiker Who Fell Off Cliff

From Staff And Wire Reports

The body of a man who apparently fell from a cliff north of La Push has been found on a rocky Olympic National Park beach.

A visitor found the body of the man, believed to be about age 30, about 2-1/2 miles north of Rialto Beach late Wednesday, said Barb Maynes, a park spokeswoman.

Rangers and Coast Guard personnel were dispatched to bring the body to Port Angeles for an investigation to determine the identity and cause of death.
