Nardinger Leads North Idaho College To Volleyball Win

Melissa Nardinger’s 31 assists and four aces Thursday guided North Idaho College to a 14-16, 15-11, 15-5, 15-11 non-conference volleyball win over Yakima Valley Community College.

NIC (2-9) let the first game slip away after leading 14-9. The Cardinals controlled the final three games.

Casey Welch and Brooke Fuller combined for 17 kills, and Lanae Jeske and Jessica Waltz teamed for 33 blocks for NIC.

The Cardinals begin Region 18 play on Thursday.
