Post Falls Man Accused Of Raping Two Nic Students Women Say Man Attacked Them In Their Homes
A 35-year-old Post Falls man made his first appearance in court Wednesday to answer charges that he raped two North Idaho College students in separate incidents earlier this year.
Kelly J. Wang, also an NIC student, is accused of forcing a 40-year-old woman to have sex with him in late February or early March. A 26-year-old woman told sheriff’s deputies Wang raped her in April.
Both woman had been involved in relationships with Wang before the attacks occurred, according to a police report. Wang is accused of overpowering each in their homes and then boasted to both women that he had just raped them.
In the most recent attack, the 26-year-old woman told detectives Wang knocked at her door and shoved her onto the couch when she asked him to leave.
Wang, whom she had recently broken off a relationship with, demanded sex, began fondling the woman and raped her, according to the police report. He then followed her upstairs and raped her again, the report said.
Before leaving, Wang said, “You realized I raped you, don’t you?” the woman told detectives.
After that attack, a 40-year-old woman told police Wang walked into her apartment unannounced in late February or early March and locked the door behind them. He told her he planned to rape her, according to the police report.
The woman told Wang, “I don’t want to be raped,” and he replied, “Yes you do,” the report said. Wang then pushed the woman into her bedroom, according to court documents.
After forcing her to have sex with him, Wang asked, “How did I like being raped?” the woman told detectives.
The woman said she did not report the attack to police until after learning the other woman had been attacked.
