Morales Takes Zaragoza’s Title

Erik Morales’ hard right to the midsection sent Daniel Zaragoza sprawling to the mat in the 11th round and separated the longtime champion from the WBC super bantamweight belt.

After waiting for more than a year to face Zaragoza (55-8-3), Morales (27-0) made the most of his chance, overwhelming him with body blows for a TKO.
