Booklets Explain Trusts, Mutual Funds In Spanish
Three educational booklets about mutual funds are now available in Spanish as well as English.
One booklet focuses on mutual funds, another on closed-end funds and another on unit investment trusts. Each is available in a Spanish-language version and an English-language version.
They review the basic features of each investment, and talk about fees, expenses, shareholder services and regulation.
The booklets are published by the Investment Company Institute in Washington, a trade group for the mutual fund industry.
For your free copy of any or all of the booklets, write: Investment Company Institute, P.O. Box 27850, Washington, D.C. 20038-7850.
Your request won’t result in any follow-up mailings or phone calls, an institute spokeswoman said.
If you have access to a computer, you may read the guides, and get more information about mutual funds and the fund industry, by contacting the institute’s World Wide Web site at this Internet address: http://www.ici.org>
