Business Association Meeting In Spokane

The 3,500-member Association of Washington Business holds its spring meeting in Spokane this week, with presentations from a former professional football quarterback and the state’s top educator and environmental and workplace regulators.

Jeff Kemp, executive director of the Washington Family Council and a former Seattle Seahawk, speaks at 7 p.m. Thursday during the AWB’s Better Workplace Awards banquet at the Red Lion City Center. Tickets for nonmembers are $55.

On Friday, Superintendent of Public Instruction Terry Bergeson, Ecology Director Tom Fitzsimmons and Labor and Industries Director Gary Moore address the business group. To register, call Tina at 360-943-5811.
