Princeton In Finals
Defending champion Princeton advanced to the NCAA lacrosse title game, scoring three times in a 98-second span of the fourth quarter for a 10-9 comeback victory over Duke.
Princeton (14-0), striving to become the first unbeaten champion since North Carolina in 1991, will face unseeded Maryland (11-4) in Monday’s national championship.
Maryland shocked third-seeded Syracuse 18-17 in the other semifinal at Byrd Stadium. Matt Hahn scored the go-ahead goal with 2:21 left and the Terrapins held on.
Brian Zeller scored three goals for the Terrapins, who are seeking their first national championship since 1975.
