Wade Sets Pace In Atlanta Win
Terrell Wade pitched six strong innings and drove in the go-ahead run with his first hit of the season Tuesday night as the Atlanta Braves beat the visiting Montreal Expos 4-2 to extend their win streak to five.
Wade (2-3) allowed both runs and eight hits, struck out five and walked one as the Braves won for the eighth time in 10 games.

John Smiley kept his unbeaten string (8-0) against Houston intact and Curtis Goodwin went 4 for 5, leading Cincinnati to its win.
The Reds played without manager Ray Knight, who began serving his three-game suspension ordered by league president Leonard Coleman. Knight was also fined for his outburst directed at umpire Jerry Layne in a May 17 game against San Diego.
