Coleman Extends Lead

Amateur Keith Coleman, from Harbour Pointe Golf Course in Mukilteo, followed his first-round 67 with a round of 68 to increase his lead in the BMW Washington Open Invitational at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club course.

Coleman leads by three strokes over Doug Hixson, from Quail Valley Golf Course in Banks, Ore.

Amateur Kent Brown of Colville Elks made an eagle on the par-4 second hole and made the cut of 152.

David Christenson (71-74-145) of Indian Canyon; Dan Koesters (74-75-149), Washington State University; and Gary Lindeblad (73-76-149), Indian Canyon, also made the cut.
