Gang Suspects Arrested In Park
Plainclothes officers caught four suspects Saturday night as one of them approached an intended victim with a knife in Riverfront Park, police said.
Police said two officers near the Carrousel spotted the suspects, all known gang members, walking toward a young man about 8 p.m.
That man, who belongs to a rival gang, was not injured.
Police arrested Francisco M. Ayala, 18, of Spokane, who allegedly was holding the knife, on suspicion of second-degree assault.
Arrested on suspicion of felony riot were Jimi R. Young, 19; Michael E. Taigaafi, 19; and a 17-year-old, all of Spokane. , DataTimes
