Spokesman-Review Wins General Excellence Award From Spj
The Spokesman-Review on Saturday received the General Excellence Award for daily newspapers from the Inland Northwest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
The newspaper also won four first-place awards from SPJ in competition in the Pacific Northwest. All awards are for newspaper coverage in 1996.
