Springdale Captures Another Panorama Title
Springdale repeated as Panorama League tournament softball champion by defeating Northport 5-3 in the title game at Kettle Falls on Friday.
Hillary Dixon (19-0) pitched a six-hitter for the Chargers (20-2), who posted a four-run third inning.
Springdale opens District 7-B tournament play at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kettle Falls against Monday’s Odessa-Northwest Christian winner. Northport (13-5), the No. 2 seed, also opens at 9:30, against Bi-County League No. 3 Almira/Coulee-Hartline.
