District Softball Field Settled With Ferris In And Lc Out

The District 8-AAA softball tournament field was filled out Friday when Ferris beat North Central 10-0 and Lewis and Clark lost to Rogers 3-0 in Greater Spokane League play at Franklin Park.

Entering the night, sixth-place Ferris led LC by two games with two left. Any Ferris win or LC loss would eliminate LC from the league’s top six, the district cutoff.

The regular season ends Monday with games at four GSL sites. District play, at Franklin, begins Thursday with loser-out games between No. 3 and No. 6, and No. 4 and No. 5.
