Chuck Craig’s Hard Work Recognized By Templin’s

Chuck Craig has been selected by his peers as the Best Western Templin’s Resort April Employee of the Month.

Craig, who has been with Templin’s since 1995, began as a pantry cook and was recently promoted to saute cook.

He was chosen due to his ability to get along well with other employees and was described as being extremely conscientious, sensitive and hardworking.

The University of Idaho chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, a liberal arts and science honorary, has recognized local students for academic achievements.

Students, their hometowns, year in school, majors and parents are: Clark Fork: Justin Ruen, junior, political science, son of Warren and Linda Ruen.

Coeur d’Alene: Amy Bennett, senior environmental-physical science, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bennett.

Moscow: Jay Feldman, senior, philosophy, and son of Abraham and Alda Feldman; Shyra Gardai, senior, microbiology, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Gardai; Laura Hanson, senior, psychology, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Hanson; Jennifer Hudson, senior, vocal performance music, and daughter of Cheryl Hudson; Darcy Hughes, senior, theatre arts, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hughes; Marina Petakova, senior, Spanish; Patrick Scott, senior, anthropology; Valerie Belles, junior, pre-nursing, and daughter of Wayne and Christine Belles; Celia Doreann-George, junior, French, and daughter of Richard George and Judith Doerann; Ruth Keenan, junior, Spanish, and daughter of Richard and Lori Keenan; and Michael McReynolds, junior, history, and son of Mary McReynolds.

Moyie Springs: Trevor Olson, senior, foreign languages and business, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Olson.

Sandpoint: Thaddeus Larimer, senior, philosophy, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Larimer.

Eligible students must be juniors or seniors and meet specific requirements for length of time as U of I students and grade point average. Requirements vary based on different number of years in school.
