Public May Join Tree-Thinning Study
The U.S. Forest Service is inviting the public to join in an evaluation of a completed tree-thinning operation in the Palouse River drainage.
Forest Service managers will answer questions and talk about the basics of forestry, wildlife, economics and landscape ecology.
The outing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14. Meet at the Palouse Ranger District office in Potlatch, Idaho, at 9 a.m. Bring transportation and a sack lunch.
